3rd Annual Spring
Wildomar Cemetery Cleaning
Event
What started off as a wet and dreary Sunday morning ended
under sunny skies with 119 volunteers, the largest group to date, washing
markers at Wildomar Cemetery in preparation for the Memorial
Day weekend. Those volunteering
included Boy Scout Troops 604 and 318, Cub Scout Packs 332 and 309, Kitty Hawk
Air Society (JROTC from Elsinore High
School) along with individuals and families.
A presentation, Living Memories of Yesteryear, was
performed by Nancy Noble and Jamie Davis; giving the youth an idea of what life
was like in Wildomar over 100 years ago.
We wish to thank ACE Hardware of Wildomar for donating 20
buckets and to the Wildomar Cemetery District for serving ice cream.
The volunteers, their leaders and parents deserve a great
big thank you for their time and dedication in serving our city.
